Celery is a robust herbaceous plant and owing to its resistivity it may be grown throughout the year. From a wild plant that grew in humid meadows, near marshes and coastal areas, it hasover the time become a plant improved by breeders, therefore, today the celery is an irreplaceable foodstuff of almost every cuisine, regardless of the form in which it is used in dishes. Ramified stalks with pinnate dark green shiny leaves and taproot grow even to one meter high. It is grown as a spice plant and used, due to its aromatic properties, in soups and other dishes. When processed, the celery root is cut into so-called tiny slices, dimensions of which being 10x10x2mm, and dried in such a form. Packages intended for wholesale are of 20kg, and the expiry term of the product is one year.
